Auberge Old Chelsea - Vacation Home

We had a nice stay at the vacation house, it was all neat and tidy when we arrived. The host was also very accommodating for an earlier check in. Since it was a house we were planning to cook for our weekend getaway, we brought groceries and everything. It was kind of weird that the fridge was already full of food, especially a lot of produce (e.g., lettuce, fruit, etc) as the listing specifically says no breakfast/food included. We managed to fit our things in the fridge without an issue. As well, this isn't really a complaint but its worth noting that they say the basement unit is used as an office but people were definitely sleeping downstairs. It really scared us to hear snoring "from the walls" since we expected to be the only guests but once we figured out it was coming from the basement unit it was fine - just worth noting.

The auberge was very conveniently located in the heart of Chelsea. The accommodation was good, very comfortable. It was a very eclectic place, with lots of character. The kitchen was large and had everything that you would need. We would stay there again.

Wow! The place was exactly as descriped and looks like the pictures. There is parking and a nice back yard with a fire pit. The rooms were all very clean and well decorated. It is very walkable to the nordik spa, shops, and restaurants. Also very close to gatineau park. The host is perfectly bilingual, friendly and warm. We had a great time!

Perfect location, walking distance to local restaurants, the pub and the spa. The home is cozy, clean, the beds were comfortable and we had all the necessities. The outdoor space has a beautiful covered deck and green belt. The parking space easily accommodates a large vehicle. All bedrooms are upstairs so not good for those with mobility issues. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

Lovely spot. Quaint, village feel. Charming house within walking distance to the spa and the towns square. The house was spacious, very clean, and well equipped. Beds were super comfy. I wish we had another night … next time!
