Auberge Old Chelsea Chambre Jagger Room

Great stay near Gatineau Park Positive: We were there to visit Gatineau Park. The place is a very easy walk from the shuttle and a good choice of restaurants. It's perfectly clean, good kitchen, lots of shared internal space, large back yard. The hostess is convenable. Negative: The small rooms are too small unless you travel very light. We're seniors, very light is not us any more. There's a largish room just outside them that, for many, would more than make up for it. For others, it would be the yard.

We decided not to stay after all. Paid for the room and left. Positive: Nice location, beautiful home. Clean and lots of character in shared spaces. Negative: Our room barely fit a firm double bed with no other furniture. Shared bathroom with several other rooms. No one there to greet us when we checked in. Breakfast not included.

Thank you Auberge Old Chelsea, it was a quick but lovely stay in your home. I couldn’t find the espresso machine (tho’ I saw that there were many pods) And I left a large picnic cold- pack in the freezer… apologies for that. The bed was very comfortable and the home was most lovingly decorated. Congratulations! Old Chelsea is a fantastic place and our wedding event was spectacular at the Old Chelsea pub across the street. The Biscotti restaurant served a brilliant breakfast! We will stay again!

Très beau séjour près du lac, dans l’authentique et chaleureuse maison de Manon Positive: Très belle maison partagée avec accueil chaleureux et de très bons conseils de la propriétaire Manon. Negative: La chambre était un poil petite, mais aucun soucis.
